Beyoncé continues to celebrate Nicki Minaj after their joint appearance at the Tidal X: 1020 concert last week. Yesterday she shared a video of the two stars facing off in an ice grill contest. Today she unveiled a short clip titled "Darling Nicki (Minaj)," in which she reworks the first verse of the Prince epic "Darling Nikki" so that it's all about Minaj's rap skills: I met this girl named Nicki, I guess you could say she was the rap queen/ I met her in the studio lobby, but her booty looked bigger than in the magazines/ She said, "Bey will you jump on this song of mine?"/ How could I resist when I heard little Nicki rhyme?

This is a clever promotion of three Tidal artists at once—earlier this year, Prince yanked his music from all streaming services except for Tidal. Revisit Nicki vs. Bey in rehearsals here, and track down Prince's performance of "Darling Nikki" from the Purple Rain movie any way that you can.
