Earlier this year, the rapper Lil B publicly endorsed Bernie Sanders for President. "I started paying attention a little bit more and really seeing that Bernie was a part of fighting against segregation," the MC noted in an interview. "That was something that really touched my heart. And I appreciate it because most likely I don't think it was cool for him to do that back then, but he still marched. As well as I heard he was for free education; that makes me so happy."
One of Sanders' more vocal supporters that also happens to be a rapper is Killer Mike, who publicly pledged his loyalty to Sanders back in June. The two were photographed together at the Busy Bee in Atlanta today. Sanders reportedly ate fried chicken and yams.
