Today is December 1, so prepare yourself for the avalanche of year-end recaps that will consume the next few weeks. Spotify struck first with some data summarizing 2015 in streaming. With 1.8 billion streams and 46 million listeners globally, Drake dominated 2015. Other impressive performances (worldwide): Justin Bieber, who earned the most clicks in a single day (36 million), Major Lazer—"Lean On" was listened to more times than any other single (540 million)—and the Weeknd, whose Beauty Behind The Madness took the crown for most played album.
