As 2015 comes to a close, it's worth looking ahead at what's to come. The FADER's new issue does a pretty good job of looking at who's next, and now, Spotify is here with their annual playlist of artists who their data and experts think is poised for a takeover.
"Artists who qualify typically should not have released an album yet, have gained considerable hype, and have played well-received live performances," a press release from Spotify explains.
Here are the 15 artists that Spotify think are going to blow up in 2016—some of our favorites made the list! And of course, there's a Spotify playlist at the bottom of this post, so you can check out the ones you don't know yet.
