Tell me your deepest, darkest fears/ Tell me your fantasy, intones vocalist/producer Greem Jellyfish in blurry triplicate on "Tell Me" from DUST's debut album, Agony Planet. The Brooklyn techno trio—Greem, Michael Sherburn, and John Barclay—demonstrates a tough-edged sense of restraint on the track: it's not much more than a pounding acid beat yet it pulls you into the eye of its storm with ease.

"We've intentionally never sat down and discussed what any of the individual tracks mean to us," DUST's John Barclay told The FADER over email, "but to me it's always felt like if the album concept were to be made into a sci-fi feature film that 'Tell Me' would play during some sort of alien nightclub or downtown/red-light district montage. It's the only moment on the album that I think can be interpreted as 'sexy' or 'fun' in a traditional sense yet it fits in with the broader narrative of pain and captivity." Mike Simonetti’s 2MR label will release DUST's debut album Agony Planet on January 22.
