When Birdman and Lil Wayne were both at Club Liv last summer, things didn't go so well: someone threw a drink at Wayne during his performance, and people were quick to accuse Birdman or someone in his entourage.
Birdman sat down for an interview with Angie Martinez not long after the incident and aggressively denied any involvement: "You watch the tape? You saw me? You seen me, right? You seen me, right? You seen what I was doing? You seen me, right? I'm in my own zone. And then like I said, I'm not gonna let no man disrespect my son--you're disrespecting me. If it was a disrespect towards him, that shit got checked, ASAP."
Last night, the two rappers were back at Club Liv, but this time they appeared to take a reconciliatory step. In a video that surfaced on Instagram, Birdman stands next to Wayne and reaffirms their bond: "this my motherfucking son, and I'm gonna die for him, I'ma live for him, and I'll motherfucking kill for him... it's YMCMB for life."
