Hear Animal Collective’s “Lying In The Grass”

Last week, Animal Collective offered fans a taste of "Lying In The Grass" via a free phone app called "Painting With." The audio arrived today for technology-averse listeners, full of cascading vocals, a smattering of brass, and a playful squirting noise. The lyrics suggest a child's nursery rhyme: Raise the gab above a whisper, speak to sound a spoiling blister/ Raise the gab above a whisper, talk to cure a blistered picture.
