Ty Dolla $ign Created A Song From Scratch With HWLS

In a 2014 interview, Ty Dolla $ign expressed his admiration for the music of the Australian producer Ta-Ku. The two eventually connected on social media, and two years later, Ta-Ku helped Ty build a track for the Songs From Scratch series.

"What I'm used to is just making music in the back of my grandmother's house," Ty explains in a video about the session. "That's how it started... I'm way quicker if I'm just in my own element." Listen to the results below.
