It’s guaranteed to give you goosebumps, and she’ll be at The Manhattan Inn next week.

Brooklyn singer ADESUWA is the epitome of soulful. I stumbled across her music while avoiding adult responsibilities on the wormhole that is the Tumblr dashboard. It was love at first listen. For the past two weeks her EP AirLight has been the musical backdrop for my walks through these brick city winds to the train. Her music embodies everything I love about R&B—it's thoughtful and stirring but most of all her voice is breathtaking. She's expressive, yet calm like a strong cup of tea. And like tea in the winter, her music is something everyone needs right now.

Listen to "Firelight" and "Coach Class" from her recently released EP AirLight, below. You better learn the lyrics quick, so you can belt 'em out at ADESUWA's show at The Manhattan Inn in Brooklyn next Wednesday February 24.
