Today pop rebel Rihanna turns 28, an accomplishment in it’s own right. But Bad Gal Riri has earned additional accolades since she first stepped on the music scene in 2005 with her first single, “Pon de Replay.” As we celebrate Rihanna’s life, let’s revisit a few of her epic milestones.

1. Most recently, Rihanna became the first and only artist to reach 100 million RIAA song certifications, which counts song digital sales and song streams.

2. In 2011, Rih broke Madonna’s 21-year long record when she landed her 20th top 10 record on Billboard’s Hot 100 list, the Calvin Harris assisted “We Found Love,” faster than any other solo artist.

3. Rock in Rio is a recurring music festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil headlined this year by No Doubt, Metallica, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars. In 2015 Rihanna, aka Robyn Rihanna Fenty, headlined the festival, earning the show its highest ratings ever.

4. After her 2013 video for “Pour It Up” racked up over 100 million views just months after its release, Rihanna broke the record for the most Vevo Certified videos with 17 videos. Now, with 24 Vevo Certified videos, Rih still holds the top spot.

5. Early in 2015, Rihanna was named the new face for Dior, becoming the first black woman to ever hold the position.
