"Down In The DM" claimed the top spot on Billboard's Mainstream Hip-Hop/R&B Airplay chart earlier this year, but that was just the beginning: soon after, Yo Gotti released an official remix of the track featuring Nicki Minaj and a humorous video that included a cameo from DJ Khaled. Suddenly Gotti has a top 20 pop hit on his hands—"Down In The DM" is currently sitting at No. 18 on the Hot 100.
The MC continued to raise the song's profile with an appearance on Kimmel last night. He was accompanied by a pair of dancers and the drummer Travis Barker. On Instagram, he wrote, "Momma I'm On T.V 📺 And Not The News this time...".
