Foxy Brown, the Brooklyn rapper and actress best known for her album III Na Na, told The New York Daily News that she would be voting for Trump and doing more to support his campaign.

Brown, formerly a Democrat, told The Daily News, "I know so many people won’t agree with me and will try to change my mind, but I’m a smart girl. I’m excited...I haven’t been this excited in so long." Brown has been on an eight-year hiatus from music because of a health issue that affected her hearing.

Regarding the issue of Trump and race in the upcoming election, Brown had this to say: “I know people say he’s a racist, but that’s just crazy.”

Update 11:17 p.m. 3/15: Foxy Brown took to Instagram after The New York Daily Mail reported that she was supporting Donald Trump with a post that reads: “I am in no way endorsing Trump. They tried It! What I said verbatim was Trump had tenacity, much like I said Hillary Clinton I love dearly and Bernie Sanders I absolutely adore.” See the entire post below.
