The tiger from The Jungle Book now has a self-titled song, on F’kear's debut album Animal.

Fakear's new track "Sheer-Khan" is completely worthy of the Jungle Book villain, Shere Khan, from whom it takes its name. The track is the first off French electronic producer's highly=anticipated debut album Animal , which is due out on June 10. The track is heavy in percussion, with a movable melody and jolts of cut-up vocals that float above ambient sounds, really giving the song a sense of place.

"Sheer Khan," Fakear explained in an email to The FADER, "is a song inspired by Jungle Book's tiger. To me, this song talks about hostile nature, as you can see/think when you're in the jungle."
