On May 6, Julianna Barwick will release her third full-length album Will, via Dead Oceans. A consummate creator of thick-layered and carefully constructed ambience, today Barwick has shared new album cut called "Same," which is a sweet duet with Thomas Arsenault, the mind behind Mas Ysa.
“Mas Ysa's Seraph was by far my favorite record of last year," Barwick wrote in an email to The FADER about the duet. "So, imagine my delight when Tom agreed to lend some vocals to a couple songs on my new record Will. I was wrapping up the record in beautiful Lisbon when he sent them along, and they made this track ‘Same' complete."
Mas Ysa will be joining Barwick on a stretch of tour dates in the coming month. "I can't wait!” Barwick said.
