Speaking to Essence back in February, Maxwell said of the long-awaited follow up to 2009's BLACKsummers’night, "I can sometimes feel like it’s okay to wait.”
It appears that the wait is finally coming to an end. Tonight, the singer released "Lake By The Ocean", a new single off of his upcoming album blackSUMMERS’night. Though it bares almost the exact same name as its predecessor, the new album's title emphasizes its July 1 arrival.
