Tim Hecker Shares “Black Phase” Video

Tim Hecker's new album Love Streams came out on Friday. The Canadian musician hosted a AMA chat on Reddit to discuss the album and answer any questions people had for him. At the end of the session, Hecker dropped a surprise video for the Love Streams cut "Black Phase." It's directed by Brett Stabler and it starts with footage of a man being restrained before brightly coloured panels obscure the rest. It's a well-put match of visuals to "the enthralling diptych of sacred sounds and ground-swelling distortions" we previously described the track as.
