Redway passed away in a car accident in the early hours of August 1 2015, and to celebrate his birthday, today some of the music the Toronto rapper was working on has been released. “40 Lower River” is produced by Redway's longtime associate Wondagurl, and the title refers to a block of affordable housing in Toronto's West Don Lands. Like his track “YKTO (You Know The Ones),” “40 Lower River” deals with the distractions, imposters and fake friends that sideline your hustle. The track's Soundcloud description says the song “is one of many [Redway] cuts to look forward to for the rest of the year!”
