Like a caretaker and fortune teller, two-time The FADER cover star Erykah Badu has remixed "Thru It All," the 2015 gem from Florida's Wintertime.

Her take is a celebration of both 4/20 and her new The FADER cover, and a skillful tribute to Wintertime's sounds-like-a-question-but-is-actually-a-shutdown flow. Just a guess, but 18-year-old A&R Seven is probably psyched about this.

Badu's lyrics sometimes cover Wintertime's original exactly, and also diverge wonderfully:

All this could have been avoided
But nigga really had to snap
Cause I been goin through it all
And ain't nobody had my back
Where the fuck was y'all at
When Badoula went down
As soon as I'm back up
Everybody wanna come around
Y'all know I go hard
So push up the fuckin fader
Yesterday I'm a hater
Today the cover of The FADER
