Solange’s Saint Heron Shop Is The Most Exciting Web Store Out There

We’re feeling the e-shop’s slow-burn approach to fashion.

Solange's digital hub Saint Heron has long been a destination for in-depth interviews with up & coming artists and spotlights on newer designers, but we're feeling the site's latest addition, an e-shop, a lot. The site specializes in limited offerings from smaller designers, like Los Angeles-based Phlemuns' ruched tangerine mini dress that reads sculptural, not saccharine, or Canadian brand Sweet Saba's artful, crystallized candies. The latest addition to the site comes courtesy of Australian label C/MEO, which offers a wide variety of uber-feminine separates and dresses. Rather than inundating the store with C/MEO offerings, Saint Heron has collaborated with the brand on two pieces: a blush pink bustier and a matching pair of pants with an exaggerated flare. Retailing brands in this piecemeal way allows the site to retain its identity (a color palette, its sculptural leanings), keep offerings interesting, and introduce Saint Heron fans to new brands they might otherwise miss. It doesn't hurt that they have hands-down the best model and style arbiter on permanent retainer, either. Shop Saint Heron here.
