Chance The Rapper and Kanye West share one of the most touching—and creatively exciting—friendships in hip-hop. It's thanks to Chance that Kanye's The Life Of Pablo has "Waves," one of its best songs, and Kanye returned the favor by working on Chance's latest mixtape Coloring Book, which he called a "masterpiece" (plenty of other musicians also praised the record on social media).

Last night, Kanye tweeted more high praise for his fellow Chicagoan: "Chance too good. God level bars." Chance replied with a string of tweets which describe how Kanye West's music made him more of a companion than a simple idol. "It's crazy cause I feel like I met Kanye the first time I heard 'We Don't Care,'" he wrote. "Like he's been there for me since 2004."
