Kanye West has made Christianity a pillar of his musical career, but you wouldn't expect to hear or see any of his lyrics near a rustic English parish. Enter St. Andrews Church in Hornchurch, London, which has shared a lyric from his 2014 non-album single, "Only One," on its public-facing message board.
The quote was shared by Elliott Walsh on Facebook and spotted by XXL. Judging from Walsh's caption, the lyric hit its mark. “I’m not really a religious man but I always look forward to the messages the priest leaves me at my local church," he writes. "They are always a bit unchurchy and unpreachy.”
