Today FKi's 1st released his debut solo effort A First Time For Everything. The six-track tape features the Atlanta producer rapping for the first time alongside a host of folks whose musical careers he has been influential in shaping, including Bankroll Fresh, NJOMZA, iLoveMakonnen, Post Malone, and more. As he told The FADER last month: "I got to work with my friends and grow musically and mentally through this project."

To mark the occasion, he has also revealed a video for the track "The Meaning," featuring some of the finer things in life: Post Malone, vintage cars, fine furs, L.A. cityscapes, Budweiser. "'The Meaning' is about having everything but it doesn't mean anything," 1st said. "At the end of the day material things aren't what matters.

"Gucci Mane was my inspiration writing the song. He's my life coach," he added. "The video is a regular day when you're driving by yourself or at home looking in the mirror and thoughts start running through your mind. We shot part in L.A. and part in Chicago. Shout out to my bro Post for coming out in the freezing cold and to my homie Madzilla for blessing the video."
