It can get downright frigid in Florida. Just ask up-and-coming rapper Wintertime.
Today, the 19-year-old MC shares a hazy video for "Thru It All," a standout track from his I Know What You Did Last Winter EP. Visionary auntie Erykah Badu, who remixed "Thru It All" in April, makes a brief cameo.
"The song represents the downs that we all experience daily," Wintertime told The FADER via email. "I got into some trouble and felt alone during that time. We all, at some point, have been 'Thru It All.'" The video was filmed in Los Angeles. "We just wanted to bring wintertime to L.A., since it's always hot all the time," Wintertime said. "This is for the fans. Shout out to Ms. Badu"
