In April Prince's plane had to make an emergency stop while flying over Illinois. A few days later he would die at his Paisley Park estate. In a new interview, Prince protégée Judith Hill has spoken with The New York Times about being on that plane that had to be taken out of the air. Hill and Prince's aide Kirk Johnson were the only others beside Prince on the flight and Hill was sitting across from the legend. Then she noticed his eyes close and knew something was wrong. “Thankfully, I happened to be looking into his face,” she told The Times. Hill recounts being "freaked out" when she couldn't wake Prince and then having to alert the captain to take the plane down. Read the entire harrowing interview here.
