The numbers mark the biggest premiere viewership for a basic cable comedy since 2013's Inside Amy Schumer. Atlanta also represents FX's biggest premiere for any half-hour show since 2011. The second episode of the show, which aired immediately after the premiere, maintained the attention of 92% of the target audience.

The third episode of Atlanta airs on Tuesday night 10 p.m. EST on FX.
