The Daily Mail reports that group of five masked men made their way into the reception area after the concierge let them in. He is then believed to have led then them to her apartment at gunpoint, where two members of the group made their way in and tied her up in the bathroom before stealing the jewelry. A box containing valuables worth $6.7 million was stolen, as well as a ring worth $4.5 million, BBC News reports, citing police officials. She also had two smart phones taken by the men. "The loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewellery. The total amount is still being evaluated," police said.

The Mail adds that Kardashian had returned to her rented apartment in the city after spending the night at a restaurant. The attack took place at 02:30 a.m. local time in the morning of Monday, October 3. Daughter, North and 10-month-old son Saint are not believed to have been in the room at the time.

Kardashian's rented luxury apartment is located behind the French capital's Madeleine church. She had spent the day attending the Balenciaga and the Givenchy show at Paris Fashion Week.

Pascal Duvier, Kardashian's security guard, was pictured with Kourtney Kardashian on Sunday night, suggesting he was not with Kim during the attack. Pictures taken on Monday morning show Kim leaving France via private jet. She is yet to address the attack via social media and police have not yet confirmed any arrests.
