As someone who spends the majority of their day hunting for new designers in the oversaturated world of fashion, Solange makes me feel like a goddamn amateur. She's like some kind of omniscient style goddess, capable of plucking even the most nascent designer out of relative obscurity and bringing them under her wing. She sports their clothes on Instagram, stocks them in her Saint Heron shop, and has her dancers wear them in her music videos. I thought a compilation of said brands, for the general good, was honestly overdue. So I made one. Here it is.
1. Marie Yat
Pieces by the U.K. designer who specializes in feather-soft ribbed underthings, appeared in the "Crane In The Sky" visuals.
2. This Is The Uniform
Solange rocked a gauzy peach-colored two-piece from luxury womenswear line This Is The Uniform back in February.
3. Georgia Alice
A drop-waisted pink silk dress from the avant-garde New Zealand retailer has made multiple appearances on the singer's Instagram.
A hot pink dress by the eternally playful French label also grabbed her attention.
5. Vika Gazinskaya
Last year she showed off an embellished sweater from this Russian line.
Solange frequently sports bold enamel pieces from jewelry designer Juliana Hung.
7. Ryan Roche
In addition to wearing the cozy-luxe label herself, she also outfitted her "Cranes In The Sky" dancers in Roche's bodysuits.
8. C/MEO COLLECTIVE
Solange has not only personally favored the girly Australian retailer but collaborated with them for the Saint Heron shop.
9. David Laport
The Amsterdam-based couture designer was behind Solange's bright yellow Met Gala moment back in May.
James Flemon's Los Angeles-based, avant-garde brand has dressed Solange, been carried in the Saint Heron shop, and designed dozens of custom-made pieces for the "Don't Touch My Hair" visuals.
11. Rosie Assoulin
The overinflated proportions of Rosie Assoulin's work have made die-hard fans of style arbiters like The Man Repeller's Leandra Medine and, yes, Solange.
This stunning footwear line is pretty new, so of course Solange is already wearing it — this time in the visuals for "Cranes In The Sky."
13. Nadine Goepfert
The Berlin-based textile designer should be building some major buzz after designing that jacket.
14. Creatures of Comfort
I mean, just look what she wore to sit front row at the brand and clothing store's recent NYFW show.
The FADER fave, who has also found a fan in Solange's sister, decked both Knowles sisters out in an bold asymmetrical coat with a splash of red across the shoulder.

16. Brother Vellies
This purveyor of furry shoes and block-heeled sandals handcrafted in South Africa, Kenya, and Ethiopia have found a fan in Solange, who rocks them on the regular.
17. Eckhaus Latta
And what would an independent brand roster be without the inclusion of New York avant-garde mainstays Eckhaus Latta? Solange is a fan of theirs as well, attending their Dev Hynes-scored show in New York last season.
