Isaiah Rashad Speaks On Mental Health: “Don’t Go Through The Problems In Your Head Alone”

Following Kid Cudi’s candid letter about his depression.

Earlier this week, Kid Cudi released a candid letter on his Facebook regarding his anxiety and depression, admitting that he had checked into a rehabilitation facility. Rappers and fans tweeted their support, including collaborator Travis Scott, who reminded him, "Ur life is to important to us in ways u don't understand. DONT FORGET."

In his episode of our Everything You Need To Know series, Isaiah Rashad shared a personal story about crying in a bathroom stall to Kid Cudi's "The Prayer." Today, the Cudi fan and TDE rapper released a series of tweets referring to his own struggles with mental health. He starts out by referencing Lil Wayne's verse on Solange's "Mad" from her recent A Seat at the Table album, in which Weezy addresses his failed suicide attempt: And when I attempted suicide, I didn't die/ I remember how mad I was on that day.

Rashad then continued to let his fans know that they're not alone in their struggle. "Don't go through the problems in your head alone," Rashad writes. "There's nothing wrong with asking for help. The worst thing to do is think ur alone in it." Read below.
