Earlier this year, DJ Khaled announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he would be Snapchatting the live birth of his son, as long as everything was going smoothly. The "We the Best" mogul returned on his promises, as Khaled and his fiancée Nicole Tuck welcomed their new baby boy, Asahd Tuck Khaled, early Sunday, October 23, and Khaled documented the entire thing. (The meaning of Asahd is "lion" in Arabic.)
Through posts on his Instagram and Snapchat story, DJ Khaled recorded the birth of his son from the moment Tuck's water broke to the first cries of his baby. Throughout the emotional event, DJ Khaled couldn't help but blast his Major Key album to calm his nerves and use his signature phrases to communicate with the doctor. "FAN LUV Contractions 🙏🏽🔑🙏🏽🦁 my son soon come I love you son .... Bless up 🙏🏽," Khaled writes on his Instagram.
When DJ Khaled finally saw his son come into the world, his face lit up with joy. "My baby's here!" he announced on his Snapchat. "He's so beautiful. I love him." Shortly afterwards, the doctors stamped his son's footprint on the mogul's forearm. View below.
