Drake Sings Along To Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” In New Apple Music TV Spot

The commercial premiered on Sunday night during the American Music Awards.

Just moments after winning the American Music Award for Favorite Album: Rap/Hip-Hop for Views, Drake and Apple Music premiered a brand new TV spot featuring the Canadian rapper. In the new commercial, Drake is seen working out and once he's left alone starts blasting Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood." The distraction doesn't work out too well for him.

The TV spot also winks at several of Apple Music's most prized partnerships, including their ongoing relationship with Drake, which is highlighted by the use of his new track "Sneakin' ft. 21 Savage" as well as their deal with Frank Ocean. (At one point, the album art for Blonde can be seen on Drake's phone.)

And the ad is a not-so-subtle callback to Taylor Swift's April 2016 Apple Music ad, which features the pop star singing along to Drake and Future's "Jumpman" as she runs—and then eats it—on a treadmill. The commercial was a major boon for both rappers: The week it ran, "Jumpman" went from No. 32 to No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and downloads of the track increased by 194%.
