Chile-born, Sweden-based producer and STAYCORE co-founder Dinamarca is no stranger to trance: his dembow dance music often comes with echoes of the genre's piercing synths. But he's never embraced the euphoric sound as wholly as he does on his latest, "Holy," a tension-filled sucker punch of a club track.

"I started this track in Stockholm but I could never quite finish it until I got to São Paulo," Dinamarca explained to The FADER in an email. "Everything fell into place in that weird magical city. The whole process of making this song was really freeing for me; I used to listen to a lot of trance and harder stuff when I was 13, and I’ve always wanted to go back to that time creatively, but I didn’t quite know how to do it until with this track and EP."

"Holy" is taken from Dinamarca's new EP of the same name, to be released on STAYCORE on December 2. EP artwork by Jonna Mayer.
