Watch an excerpt from his interview with Bloomberg above. "It's difficult because, that's my brother, I love him," the A Tribe Called Quest rapper and producer said when asked about West's behavior. "I reached out to him, and I'm hoping that we just get to talk... I really care about that dude, but his remarks are something that require us having a real serious discussion."

Q-Tip and Kanye West have been friends and musical associates for years. Tip signed a solo deal with West's G.O.O.D. Music label in 2012, and Ye has celebrated Tip's name among other legendary MCs. In 2013, A Tribe Called Quest opened for Kanye West on the Yeezus tour, then billed as their final performances ever (until a reunion on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon led to the recording of their latest album We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service.)

Kanye West recently cancelled all of the remaining Saint Pablo tour dates before being hospitalized for exhaustion.
