Vic Mensa Joins #NoDAPL Protest At Standing Rock

Vic Mensa recently traveled to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota to join the the protest against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. He shared pictures and videos on social media of the trip; in one video, the Chicago rapper says he will return to Standing Rock on December 4 to protest a recent evacuation order handed down by the governor of North Dakota and the Army Corps of Engineers.

"If you believe in the inalienable rights of people; the right to clean drinking water, the right to food & shelter and the right to freedom then you have to support standing rock," Mensa wrote in an Instagram post. "Get on a plane, drive, take a bus do whatever you have to do... When one of our freedom is on the line all of our freedom is on the line. Fight for freedom."
