Dutch artist Sevdaliza has been relatively quiet this year, releasing two creeping new songs, but I've still had her 2015 single "That Other Girl" on repeat. With its sparse, eerie chords, forlorn melody, and jaw-dropping 3D video, it was her break-out song for good reason. And with added distortion, ferocious bass, and a dark turn from A$AP Ferg, it sounds even more thrilling in its new form as "That Damaged Girl."

The stream of "That Damaged Girl" comes along with both the news that Sevdaliza is releasing her debut album in 2017, and a comic strip that shows the singer/producer as a muscular hero and is a comment on the ways in which she is exoticized. Asked to explain what the song means to her, Sevdaliza wrote in an email to The FADER: "'The darkest hour is just before dawn.' I indulged myself in total chaos, ordering it made me get clearance again." Listen, and peep the comic, exclusively below.
