New Gen began life as a London club night and radio show. Under the vision of Caroline SM, with the help of XL Recordings, the first New Gen album is released today, January 27. Offering a snapshot of the music that is making London tick right now, there is grime courtesy of AJ Tracey and Bonkaz, spoken word from Kojey Radical, and a sprinkling of the road rap meets bashment sound that Yxng Bane and Abra Cadabra are pioneering.
