In terms of unlikely collaborations, Carly Rae Jepsen working with Lil Yachty may be right up there. The dream is a reality though with the pair's cover of Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock’s 1988 hit “It Takes Two” set to air during The Grammys on Sunday, February 12. The track was produced by Mike Will Made-It for a Target-sponsored video. The video was directed by Roman Coppola and choreographed by La La Land choreographer Mandy Moore (not that one).

Speaking to EW about the project Jepsen admitted it's an unlikely pairing. “I was like, ‘This is too weird to say no to!’” she said. "It was reaching from different worlds and coming together to make something that hopefully nobody would expect. It was a total blast. Yachty is a lot of fun, and Mike is incredibly talented, so the combo was unlike anything I’d done before."
