After previewing clips for a new video on Instagram last week, M.I.A. has returned with the visual her brand new track, "P.O.W.A." The song is built around a hypnotizing sample of The Marcel's "Blue Moon," and finds M.I.A. chanting, "I'm not Osama/ Monsanto farmer/ I don't drink no soda/ I believe in karma." She also references other pop stars, singing, "I'm not Rihanna/ I'm not Madonna/ I'm not Mariah, or Ariana."

The self-directed video features M.I.A. in a number of colorful fits that contrast against her desolate surroundings. The song is M.I.A.'s first release since her AIM album in September. Before the album's release, she announced that the record would be her last and said that she was contemplating retirement.
