Watch A New Short Film From Lemonade Director Kahlil Joseph

Music Is My Mistress is the latest from Kahlil Joseph, the visionary director behind Beyoncé's Lemonade and hauntingly beautiful videos for Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, FKA twigs and more. The film stars Jesse Williams and Tracie Ellis Ross, and features music from Shabazz Palaces and cellist Kelsey Lu, who's featured as an actor and performer.

Created in collaboration with Kenzo and Annapurna, the film is—in pretty typical Joseph fashion—a non-linear, impressionistic piece that uses music to great effect. Watch that below, and keep an eye out for Process, the Joseph-helmed short film companion piece to Sampha's new album, coming in March.
