Lorde released her debut album Pure Heroine back in 2013. It's known that she has a new record in the works but when exactly we get to hear that new material has remained under wraps. However, with an SNL date in the diary for March 11, sooner rather than later seems likely.
The New Zealand pop singer's return gathered pace overnight when she placed a mysterious T.V. advert in her native country. The short ad, which you can see above, catches Lorde in the back of a car as a fast-paced piano instrumental plays in the background. It then cuts to text which reads “3.2.17 NYC” and “3.3.17 NZ.” That's Thursday and Friday this week.
