After teasing her new video with screening events in New Zealand, and sharing a clip of the visual online, Lorde has released the video for her new single "Green Light." The upbeat track is accompanied by the Grant Singer-directed visual, which, as the song's title suggests, finds Lorde drenched in green light amidst dark car and club scenes. "Green Light" is the first single from Lorde's upcoming album, Melodrama.
Lorde previously shared the teaser video for the single on imwaitingforit.com. "i am so proud of this song," Lorde wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. "it's very different, and kinda unexpected. it's complex and funny and sad and joyous and it'll make you DANCE." Watch her new video for "Green Light" above.
