Solange will stage an interdisciplinary performance based on her 2016 album A Seat At The Table in New York this May. "An Ode To" will be part of this year's Red Bull Music Academy Festival and will take place on May 18 at the Guggenheim Museum.

The performance is described in a press release as being a "meditation examining themes from A Seat at the Table through movement, installation work, and experimentation through re-constructing musical arrangements." Solange will use the museum’s Rotunda space to perform familiar and reimagined versions of songs from the record.

Red Bull's events in New York will run from April 29 to May 21 this year with Gucci Mane and Zaytoven set to play a set around a grand piano on May 16. The duo played a similar stripped-back session for NPR late last year.
