Barack Obama’s Presidential Library Will Feature A Recording Studio

“Chance or Bruce Springsteen” will be able to pop by.

Barack Obama is busy cementing his legacy by way of his presidential library.The Chicago Tribune published the plans for the Obama Presidential Center on Wednesday, and confirmed that the three-building campus on Chicago's South Side will include a recording studio in addition to a library, museum, auditorium, and a public garden.

According to a CNN report, Obama said that the studio would be a place where "can invite Chance [the Rapper] or Bruce Springsteen, depending on your taste, to come here and talk about how you can record music that has social commentary and meaning."

The former president has always spoken publicly about his affinity for music, even joking once that he was "waiting for my job at Spotify" after releasing a playlist that included The Temptations, The Isley Brothers, and Talib Kweli.
