Chief Keef Released From Jail

The Chicago rapper was detained on drug possession charges earlier this week.

Chief Keef has been released from jail following his arrest on June 12, XXL reports. A spokesperson for the rapper confirmed the news that Keef was released after appearing in court. He was released on $2,000 bond after pleading not guilty.

The Chicago rapper was arrested on Monday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on drug charges according to local reports.

Keef was charged with possession of marijuana 2 oz to less than 1/2 lb and possession of drug paraphernalia. A rep from his camp told XXL that they’re confident the charges will be reduced.

In April Keef was charged with a felony DUI in Miami after he failed a sobriety test. Last week, Chief Keef dropped his new project Thot Breaker.
