Hip-hop musicians from across generations have paid tribute on social media to Prodigy, the New York rapper who passed away on Tuesday. The remembrances came from artists like Nas, Nicki Minaj, and Havoc, the producer and rapper with whom Prodigy co-founded Mobb Deep, the highly regarded and widely influential rap duo.
