London singer-songwriter Purple Ferdinand today shares the second video from her new EP Rain or Shine. "Intertwined" is a simmering pop song full of soul, all about letting yourself get swept up in the honeymoon stages of a new relationship. Its sweet, minimalist visual follows the artist as she performs it against a backdrop of London's sharp angles and gloomy skies.
“'Intertwined' came to be from love, being in love," Purple Ferdinand told The FADER in an email. "It celebrates the newness of love; the power in honesty and sharing your heart. That ‘2 become 1’ thing that seems to happen when you allow yourself to be a fusion of both minds. In terms of the video, Didyer [Zarate] and I tried to find the right places to capture the right moods and the sentiment, we went from from Battersea park to Canary Wharf for texture and architecture, natural and manmade lines." Rain or Shine is out now on Seven Seven Records.
