Cat Power recently announced that she has a 10th album "ready to go" in a post on Instagram. The last time the singer-songwriter released a full-length album was in 2012 when she dropped Sun.
Over the past five years, Power has stayed active in the music scene by collaborating with artists like Cassius, Pharrell and J Mascis, touring with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and narrating Janis Joplin's documentary.

Power is scheduled to perform at Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Appleton, Wisconsin alongside Faye Webster, The Dove & The Wolf, Erin Rae, Cory Chisel, and Adriel Denae on August 5 and Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City, Utah for the Twilight Concert Series on August 17.
