Fresh off their debut EP Patience, French producer DJ Futura and DC rapper Beau Young Prince — together known as cross-genre duo Young Futura — arrive with the video to their energetic dance track "Slide." The song features a blend of dancehall sounds, house chords, drum rhythms, and unique lyricism: "Dance because we don't have no love."
Shot in Paris and directed by Chris Saunders, the video features amazing dancer Stephane Deheselle and Young Futura busting out the moves in the latest clothing collection of French label Kitsuné.
The duo summed up the song's appeal in an email to The FADER: "'Slide' is an energetic dance song driven by a repetitive driving beat as an undertone with a smooth lyrical delivery that instills movement into your mind."
