Lorde took "Homemade Dynamite," a song from her new album Melodrama, to the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. As Pitchfork pointed out, Lorde tweeted earlier Sunday evening that she was battling the flu, but still took the stage and mimed through the song, with backup dancers and a shiny dress to help her pull through.
