Beyoncé was in Philadelphia to watch JAY-Z headline the annual Made In America festival on Sunday. During his set Jay stopped to alert fans that Bey was due to celebrate her birthday and ask them to sing for her. Beyoncé turns 36 this Monday, September 4. You can see footage of the touching moment above.
Made In America took place across Labor Day weekend and brought performances from J. Cole, Migos, Solange, and more. JAY-Z played his first show on U.S. soil since releasing 4:44 in June. He previously performed at V Festival in the U.K. in August. He will next be seen alongside host Ryan Gosling when Saturday Night Live returns later this month.
