After sharing her colorful new video for “New York,” St. Vincent’s Annie Clark debuted a series of short, comedic videos made with Carrie Brownstein on her Instagram. The nine clips show Clark on a stereotypical set responding to a series of vague questions that poke fun at the type of questions celebrities are often asked during interviews. For example, one video starts with the text “Insert question about the importance of being political in these times.”

In the videos, Clark struggles to read a teleprompter that repeats the phrase "allworknoplaymakesannieadullgirl," possibly emphasizing that the videos are a joke. The skits written by Brownstein also include a video where Clark stresses out over the placement of a boom mic overhead.

According to her recent profile in the New Yorker, Clark filmed other videos of her set up at a fake press conference that haven't been released yet. Check out the videos by Clark and Brownstein below.
